To lead Is To Serve
I Believe that a true leader is one who is ready to serve those around him. Many times we witness a person reach a leadership position within an organization not because of his or her talent but rather because of senority.
Respect and loyalty from his or her staffers must be earned, it is never given. This I know, the only effective way to obtain the respect and willingness to perform tasks from peers is to build realtionships with the staffers based on meeting each others needs and that is acomplished only when we as leaders are willing to serve others, whatever the cost. Only then will we reap the succsess we seek.
